This Rosso Toscana IGT “Baron del Nero”, a wine of great personality, is named after the ancient “Molino Baron del Nero” mill, located along the Virginio stream near our winery, a place deeply connected to the history and traditions of the territory.

The flagship wine of our Toscana IGT red wine production, it is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, vinified separately to preserve the distinctive characteristics of each variety. After a long ageing period of at least twelve months in oak, the two wines are blended together to create a harmonious and complex balance, followed by further bottle ageing.

In the glass, it displays an elegant deep ruby-red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a broad and refined bouquet, where aromas of ripe red fruits blend with delicate notes of vanilla and spices, creating a rich and enveloping aromatic profile.
On the palate, it is soft, structured, and persistent, with elegant tannins and a spicy finish that enhances its complexity.

An important and versatile wine, this Rosso Toscana IGT “Baron del Nero” pairs beautifully with flavourful red meats, such as the traditional Florentine steak, as well as game dishes.
