The Cantina Sociale Colli Fiorentini is the first cooperative winery Tuscan to have adopted from 2011, measures to protect the natural environment and the environment of which it is an integral part, installing a photovoltaic generator of the power of 318 kW divided into two sections.

The first section started operating on 18/02/2011 to 99.84 kW crystalline silicon panels and installed on a flat roof with an inclination of 21 °. It has an expected production of 113.395 kWh/per year with an environmental benefit of 173.902 [VTE] and 19,504 kg of CO2. petroleum avoided.

The second section became operational on 20/04/2011 218,16 kW of crystalline silicon panels and installed in a coplanar manner of coverage went to replace the mantle in eternit.
It has an expected production of 185.130 kWh/per year with an environmental benefit of 283.915 [VTE] of CO2 and 31,842 kg of oil avoided.
