This wine represents the deep bond with local tradition and the quintessential Tuscan grape variety, Sangiovese, which has made Tuscany one of the most renowned wine regions in the world.
The grapes, sourced from the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa where our members’ vineyards are located, are harvested by hand. They are then vinified using cutting-edge technologies designed to limit oxygen contact and enhance the authentic characteristics of a Chianti Classico. Depending on the vintage, the grapes may undergo long maceration periods of up to 25–30 days. The resulting wine is aged for 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel.
