This smooth and well-rounded wine is the result of a careful selection of the finest Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, grown in the municipality of Montespertoli and the surrounding areas. The wine matures in barrels for at least 12 months, followed by an additional 5 months of refinement in the bottle.
The vinification process employs state-of-the-art technologies that limit oxygen contact to enhance the authentic characteristics of Chianti. Depending on the vintage, the grapes may undergo extended maceration periods of up to 25–30 days.
