Our Chianti DOCG Rosé “Rosa dei Colli” is made from the white vinification of the finest Sangiovese grapes, carefully selected from vineyards located on the highest slopes of our Tuscan hills. This rosé wine expresses the freshness and character of the territory, combining the distinctive qualities of Sangiovese with an elegant, fragrant and pleasantly fruity profile.
The distinctive winemaking process involves a short cold maceration of approximately 5–6 hours, depending on the vintage. This brief contact with the grape skins allows the must to develop the right colour intensity while preserving the wine’s delicacy and pleasant character, without developing excessive astringent notes.
The must is then clarified and undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation, a process designed to enhance the aromatic freshness and natural characteristics of the grapes.
In the glass, Chianti DOCG Rosé “Rosa dei Colli” stands out for its bright and intense pink colour, luminous and inviting.
On the nose, it offers a fresh and fragrant bouquet, with pleasant red fruit aromas that reflect the lively and naturally aromatic character of Sangiovese.
On the palate, it is fresh, savoury and pleasantly balanced, with a lively acidity that gives the wine freshness, elegance and excellent drinkability. The finish is pleasant and fruity, leaving a clean and harmonious sensation that invites another sip.
